Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Stella International Publication. These terms apply to book publication services provided to authors, editors, and contributors. The specific publishing services, charges, and rights for each book will be confirmed in a written agreement before work begins.

1. Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted with complete author/editor details, references, and supporting materials. Submission does not guarantee publication. We may request revisions or decline manuscripts that do not meet our publishing requirements.

2. Originality and Permissions

Authors must ensure that their work is original, properly referenced, and free from plagiarism or fabricated information. Permission must be obtained for copyrighted material where required. Previously published material and AI-generated content must be disclosed.

3. Authorship and Content Accuracy

All authors and contributors must approve the submission and their inclusion in the book. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the content, references, data, and affiliations. Editors of contributed volumes must coordinate permissions and approvals from chapter authors.

4. Publishing Services and Charges

Included services—such as editing, formatting, cover design, ISBN arrangements, printing, and distribution—will be specified in the quotation or publishing agreement. Additional services and charges require prior approval. Payments must follow the agreed schedule.

5. Copyright and Publishing Rights

Submission or payment does not automatically transfer copyright. Copyright ownership and any rights granted to Stella International Publication will be defined in the written publishing agreement, including formats, territory, duration, and exclusivity.

6. Proofreading and Final Approval

Authors must review the final manuscript and cover proofs carefully and provide written approval before printing or digital release. Substantial changes requested after approval may involve additional charges and delays. Errors introduced by the Publisher after approval will be addressed at the Publisher’s expense.

7. Publication Timeline

Publication timelines depend on manuscript readiness, revisions, payments, author approvals, and production requirements. Any material delay and revised schedule will be communicated. A fixed publication deadline applies only when agreed upon in writing.

8. Printing and Delivery

Book specifications, print quantity, author copies, and delivery charges will be confirmed before printing. Damaged, missing, or incorrectly printed copies should be reported promptly with relevant details and photographs so that an appropriate remedy can be arranged.

9. Distribution, Sales, and Royalties

Distribution channels, promotional services, pricing arrangements, and royalties, where applicable, will be stated in the publishing agreement. Publication does not guarantee sales, citations, indexing, awards, or recognition by any academic institution or regulatory body.

10. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refunds will be assessed against the agreed publishing scope and work completed. Any deductions will be limited to agreed charges for completed services and documented, non-recoverable expenses. An itemised explanation and the applicable refund timeline will be provided.

If we cancel a project for reasons unrelated to an author’s breach, payments for undelivered services will be refunded. Applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

11. Publication Ethics and Complaints

We may pause publication or distribution while investigating credible concerns involving plagiarism, copyright, authorship, or serious factual errors. Authors will have an opportunity to respond. Appropriate action may include corrections, an erratum, or withdrawal.

12. Privacy

Personal information will be used for publication-related communication, administration, and agreed promotional activities. Personal contact details will not be published without permission. Further information should be provided in our separate Privacy Policy.

13. Disputes and Applicable Law

We encourage authors to contact us first to resolve any concern through discussion. Unresolved disputes will be subject to applicable Indian law and the competent court or forum, without limiting statutory remedies.

14. Agreement and Updates

These terms and the book-specific agreement must be accepted in writing before publication work begins. Changes affecting an ongoing project require mutual written agreement.
